Pete links up with long time collaborator BoFaat for this dedication to the dogs loved and lost
Dogs are family and family is for life. If youre thinking of getting a dog as a present, dont. If you do and you cant manage to look after them and give them the care, love, and attention they need please be honest with yourself and find them a new home.
Five artists. One truth. “They Don’t Care” brings together a powerhouse lineup of lyricists to speak on the realities we’re living in—government failures, social injustice, and the voices that get ignored every day. Sampling Michael Jackson’s iconic line “All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us,” this track is a modern anthem for the unheard.
This visual dives deep into the emotions, struggles, and urgency behind the message. Every verse hits with raw honesty, calling out the systems that continue to fail communities. If you believe in speaking truth to power, this one is for you.
As we get bombarded by ever changing tech and fashion, holiday seasons, celebratory days, and sale after sale, its easy to get lost just trying to keep up.
Debt looms for many whether its bank loans or Klarna and quick fixes turn into long term problems.
We are born into this capitalist society not by choice but we are forced to enter battle either for material possessions or for food and survival itself.
"Are you a fan of suxcka shit? Want to fool your 'fans' into thinking youre a big time rapper? Have a dumbass fanbase that believes this bullshit?? Click the link and send us your money cos we dont really give a shit about artists we just want to do some vulture shit (sometimes with the artists knowledge, sometimes sneaking it through the 'back door' we mentioned) and pretend we run the game"
PS: Just look at the language on this. Since the whole Eminem shit where they tried to sneak it through theyve done nothin but extra sucka shit since. These clowns dont care anymore
Releasing on Independence Day, Adult Contemporary Hip Hop is both a celebration and a challenge — reflecting on freedom, self-determination, and the contradictions still woven into Black American life.
Dedicated to the late Twan Mack, the album takes its title from a mantra he lived by — and transforms it into a bold, grown, and deeply soulful statement. This marks the fourth consecutive Arrested Development project co-executive produced by Speech and UK boom-bap specialist Configa, continuing a creative partnership that has helped shape the group’s modern resurgence.
This time, the album features very few outside features — the focus being on the AD family: Frontman Speech, 1Love, Tasha LaRae, and Fareedah, with extended kin Ke’Andra and Bee Taylor. Music production is led by Speech and Configa, with additional contributions from MRK SX and Ben Marc.
Stetsasonic's Daddy-O presents his latest collection of songs, a ten track trip through the neighborhood he grew up in. From the hoods to the hustlers to the pros and the emcees,
The Odad proudly represents his hometown over head noddin beats.
"Brutally honestly: I'm only one of many that made it outta where I come from. This album, East New York Stories, is as much of a diary as it is a warning. History? Yes. Danger? Absolutely. But there's a ring to it. A rhythm. The flow of survival and ambition.
To the rappers and MCs along the way, I applaud the effort when you make them. Shame on you when you have not."
Nary Da Producer drops a new beat tape for MCs to cook with this summer!
His recent trip to North Carolina was really the biggest part of the inspiration for his latest beat tape. The Juneteenth Celebrations, being around family, surrounded by different energy, all combined sonically to create that summer heat!
AR16 (Artisin & REKS) drop their explosive EP Kill Writers Block.
With razor-sharp bars, gritty beats, and features from Estee Nack, Termanology, Ea$y Money, Hectic, Superstah Snuk, Dj Deadeye, and Queen Philosophical, the duo reps ST da Squad with lyrical fire.
He hit him up with a random topic of "Scooby-Doo" & said, "Lets see if you can make a song about that." But Hectic had already been using the term "Lawtown Scooby-snack", which is mostly a nickname for out of state plates. If you have New Hampshire plates in Lawtown, then that's a lawtown scooby snack, for both cops & goons. If you are rocking all types of jewels in lawtown then you can become a lawtown scooby snack,so on,etc.
DL made a beat with a scooby sample and Hectic wrote the song while at work, got out of work and (in a move that has possibly never been done before) shot the video before the song was even recorded. Then they wrapped up the video and went to the studio to record the song.
So with that being said here it is... Random topic, song & video "Lawtown Scooby Snack" check it out....

When DJ Madhandz first started making beats a few years ago,
I reached out to him right away about doing a release with us. I’ll never forget when he told me he needed time to fully develop his sound and to evolve his music until it truly reflected his vision. That level of patience and self-awareness is rare these days, especially when so many artists rush to release every beat they make, hoping to blow up overnight.
A few years later, we’re very proud to present his very first solo release, a project filled with his own unique beats, each one a dedication to the craft and the culture.
Brace yourselves for a sonic onslaught as New Jersey's Mickey Bourbon and Wes Nihil drop their explosive new music video, "Gimme 5 Feet"—this hardcore hip-hop opus, reminiscent of the raw energy of legendary groups like Onyx and M.O.P., delivers a powerful message: Respect personal space and approach with caution.
Filmed and edited by Tyler Harrison of Thriving Era, the "Gimme 5 Feet" visuals capture the rugged intensity of the 'Brick City', perfectly complementing the song's combative delivery. Bourbon and Wes trade relentless flows over the hard-hitting production provided by Hanzo Bladez, serving a stark reminder to respect boundaries, especially when encountering artist in their natural habitat.
Speaking about "Gimme 5 Feet", Mickey Bourbon explained, "We wanted to re-inject the rap game with raw unfiltered expression, which I feel has been missing. The ultra-aggressive nature of this release is by design and unapologetic, you feel me, 100% back the f*ck up vibes." Wes added, "When traveling through the wild, don't feed the animals. Keep your distance and move with caution. Give us that five feet."
Mickey Bourbon and Wes Nihil's "Gimme 5 Feet" music video is OUT NOW via Wes Nihil's YouTube channel, and the audio version will be available shortly on all digital streaming platforms via On The Rocks Entertainment.
Lex drops 14 new tracks of dopeness in The Best Language
Lex says "I've been recording and releasing music for a long time. I'm always working on a few things at once. This project really began with me just being in a good creative space. I liked what I was recording. For a long time, there wasn't a theme for it. There wasn't a name. Until I listened to an interview with the late DJ Clark Kent who was asked to define music. He responded with "Music is the best language ever created..." I could not agree more. What I was doing started making more sense. This constant theme in my head drove me to continue creating something that I truly feel is some of the most fulfilling art I've ever been a part of."
"This album could not be what it is without the MC, Producer, DJ and Engineer names you see listed. There are also a number of very intentional quotes sprinkled throughout this project. Thank you for listening."

Life is full of struggles—black versus white, rich versus poor, war versus peace. We’ve all been there. The Lies of Life is more than just a song—it’s a story of survival, resilience, and the choices we make when faced with impossible circumstances.
From the cold realities of financial hardship to the pressures of society, this track reflects on the daily battles we all fight. Whether it’s losing a job, struggling to put food on the table, or facing injustice, I know what it’s like to be pushed to the edge. But even in the darkest moments, we always look to the light.
This video captures the raw emotion of real-life situations—from the crowded food courts at JFK to a brother asking for help. Every verse is a testament to the pain, the pressure, and the perseverance it takes to make it through.
If you’ve ever felt the weight of the world on your shoulders, if you’ve ever been overlooked, disrespected, or felt like the system was built to break you—this song is for you. We all have a story. This is mine.

We are delighted to announce Farma G’s debut solo album ‘How To Kill A Butterfly’ is scheduled for release January 31, 2025 on High Focus Records.
An opus across 13-tracks, steeped in classic Task Force energies but also very much rooted in the now, ‘How To Kill A Butterfly’ ranks high on Farma’s illustrious discography…
“I had hung up my microphone pretty soon after Task Force had finished recording MFTC5 in 2013. I still dabbled, and did features for anyone who asked but for the most part my time as an MC seemed to have passed. As the years rolled by I grew more focussed on producing and working with rappers from the UK and USA like Conway the Machine, Rome Streetz, Mach Hommy, ILL BILL and Vinnie Paz, however, I was unsatisfied. Something was missing…
I have always been very competitive as a rapper, going by the old rules of ‘I’m better than you, I’m the king, I am the best’ and I began to have those feelings again. I wasn’t impressed by what I heard coming from the UK rap community so I dusted off the pen, bought a new writing pad and began to write again. At first it was just fragmented poetry and nonsensical words jumbled together, but slowly it began to come back to me.
The concept behind ‘How To Kill A Butterfly’ is connected to my roots with Task Force and the end of that particular journey. Task Force fans will be familiar with tracks such as ‘Butterfly Concerto’, ‘Butterfly Reprise’ and ‘Butterfly Effect’. The title of my new album is symbolic of the end of an era and the rebirth of a new one. Throughout this album I have strived to establish a connection to a time and place that made me feel like I was alive and excited to write, thrilled to have people hear what I had cooked up and most of all proud to be able to say ‘I belong here’. I want people to hear this record for what it is…a Farma G record..
My connection to the past and all things that have come before this moment are always kept close enough for me to ground myself firmly in this scene but the future holds so many new and exciting twists and turns and this is the start of that journey. I am not trying to keep up, I’m trying to take it back; not ‘back in time’ but ‘back to where it belongs’…
