‘A Second To Wreck It’ is the fifth single in the #C75Friday series; a series of collabs from Cuban Pete with various artists and beat makers.
Cuban Pete links up with veteran MC Musik G, and MC/graffiti artist King Topaz. Cuts are provided by DJ Rustbucket over a sparse banging beat from Apocalypse Child.
From Queens NYC to UK the verbal skills on display cross oceans with an old school boom bap vibe while the cuts from DJ Rustbucket funk up the hook.
Make sure you add this to your rotation and watch out for further #C75Friday releases.
The three MCs hark back to the days when Hip Hop educated and spread knowledge from the Gods and Earths over a heavyweight brooding beat from DJ Tray.
The New England legend and stalwart MC, Krumbsnatcha aka Judah The Prince, responsible for over two decades of thought provoking bangers is back this fall with his latest release Last Dance, produced by Pzazz Psyxtine. This comes as the most recent of three singles released for the upcoming album Iron Lion of Zion, which is a commemorative album of the late Reggae legend Bob Marley.
This is not the first time Krumbsnatcha has experimented with different genres or Reggae as he has already collaborated with established Reggae artists Jah Don and Grammy Award winning Dancehall superstar Shabba Ranks. This album goes a step further in its aim to tribute arguably one of the most influential musicians of all time. Bob Marley was not only an international icon known for his anthems such as One Love and Three Little Birds, but also a freedom fighter who used his medium of music as bridge to promote peace, unity and equality for everyone regardless of race, religion or economic status. Bob Marley was even shot at his home in an assassination attempt for his dedication to these principles and his refusal to be associated with any political interests.
The new single Last Dance is an upbeat and uptempo invitation to the dancefloor by Judah The Prince. Though the album has serious and thought provoking messages included, it also gives the listener a vibe to get loose "Pon the dancefloor" as Judah instructs in the chorus.
Releases fully on November 3rd
‘No No No’ is the second single from the upcoming and as yet untitled album by Cuban Pete and the late BigBob, the first being the tribute track ‘This is for You’
BigBob provides an adrenaline fuelled banger of a beat that fires up the listener and provides the perfect soundscape for Cuban Pete to call out and unload on all those naysayers out there. This one pulls no punches and is unapologetic in its delivery and in how Cuban sets the record straight.
‘No No No’, sets the bar high and raises the anticipation levels for the album.
The track is engineered by BoFaat, artwork by Cuban himself.
Hanz On drops another banger from upcoming album 'Carthage'.
B. Dvine takes a trip down memory lane on the track 'Radio Ave' from his 'Louvre Magnate' album.
'Radio Ave' sees Dvine talking about how lifes many paths can cause you to lose touch with once close friends but how its still all love. Producer yungL!NK provides the perfect boombap background.

The year of the rabbit is both the year Cuban was born and this year 2023 so it seemed a fitting title for his second album team up with producer BoFaat.
At a time when everyone complains about artists sounding the same BoFaat does bring that classic boom bap sound but lyrically Cuban sets himself apart from the pack. Covering a range of topics with his unique sense of humour in which he himself is often the target.
All cuts on the album are by DJ JabbaThaKut and the album was mastered by The J. Hexx Project.
Features include Cuban's C75 Live team members B. Dvine and OneMike, the legendary Krumbsnatcha, one half of Dirt Platoon Raf Almighty, UK based Australian emcee Nelson Dialect, emcee/producer yungL!NK, and NY based artist Jus-P.
The album is available on digital, CD, and t-shirts are also available.

Cuban Pete drops visuals for his tribute to BigBob
Not long ago we heard the sad news that Elite Sound International founder Robert 'BigBob' Pattison had passed. Bob was a renowned and respected producer who worked with artists such as Raf Almighty (Dirt Platoon), Daddie Notch (Bankai Fam), Sizzla Kamonji, Cutty Ranks, Solomon Childs, Ruste Juxx, Nelson Dialect, and many many more. His boom bap production brought the best out of MCs and created many classic sounding albums. Elite Sound International, Bigbob's production and record label, will be entering a period of transition to ensure his legacy will continue to live on. Cuban Pete worked with Bob over the last few years, mainly providing artwork for artists Bob was producing. In the last few months they started working on an as yet unnamed album together. Little did Pete know that the first single from that project would be in tribute to the late producer and friend.

Gone but never forgotten. We love you BigBob!
20 years is a long time, especially in Hip Hop, and the dedication needed to keep a mix show going for that long is immense.
DJ Modesty has kept the pressure on other shows all these years with a dope mix of the latest boom bap style Hip Hop from known and unknown mostly underground artists.
The landmark 400th episode starts off with cosigns from names in the game such as DJ Premier before launching into the new single from Cuban Pete dedicated to the late BigBob (RIP), followed by an exclusive cut dedicated to Modesty himself by artists Napoleon Da Legend, Mic Bless, Musik G, Raze The Ratchet, Wildelux, and XP The Marxman.
Check out the show below and make sure to tune in on Mixcloud regularly:
