Saint // noun: "A
person acknowledged as holy, benevolent or virtuous and regarded in Christian
faith as being in heaven after death."
In an era of ego fuelled vanity projects Judah The
Prince [Krumbsnatcha] delivers an introspective view of life
from an artist who recovered from rock bottom.
In preparation for the overdue
release of Iron Lion of Zion, Judah The Prince releases Saint
Judah an album continuing his mission of spreading uplifting, thought
provoking Hip-Hop to a world in need of positive energy and
healing.
Produced and mixed by
Lincoln Rossi for Correra
Records the project features Tone Spliff, Willian
Chacal, Monique
Tedesco, Desco, Gon Salves, Cuban Pete & Amon
Poeta.
Krumbsnatcha was baptised on Feb 27th this year, this
is his testimony...
Dame Black drops his new project 'The People Under The Stairs'
8 tracks deep including the intro the project has a really soulful vibe which is supported by the beautiful vocals of Melanie Rutherford on 'Starlight' and the wise words of Kaliq Sayyid Ra Bey on '6am' and 'Naked Angel'. Aaron Green produced the whole project with beats you can feel in your soul and also plays instruments himself. All these elements give the whole project a real Dungeon Family feel.
Speaking of the inspiration for the ep Dame says "The People Under The Stairs is actually one of my favorite movies but, I used to be in the streets trapping and 90% of my content is street so I looked at the people under the stairs as the clientele.
I took the movie and, flipped the perspective into a dealers view. I wanted to still reflect the movie as well so I used the actual movie cover as well and, flipped it. Once people hear the EP they’ll definitely understand the similarities and the references." Read the full interview HERE
Features from Rich Vill, Wayne Jay, Project Logic, and Binx B are sprinkled through out that perfectly compliment Dames often introspective but street lyrics and add to the harmonious feel of the album.
Both MCs go in over a beat by producer Dox Boogie (RIP) who
arranged the track with Cuban shortly before they fell out and the
project was left hanging in the balance.
Finally Cuban has
brought the track to life with film clips and a fire verse, with both
MCs talking about the wrath they face daily and hand out to others.
'Walk With Me' is the second visual off the Best Bar Nun ep from Cuban Pete and features Loka on the mic as well as on production.
"In Walk With Me, audiences will grip a different side of Pete, one that
is transparent and vulnerable, but not weak. The classic bass and drums
blended with compelling melodies underline Pete’s anecdote. He mentions
his adolescence and a lifetime of lessons. How does he depict from dream
or reality without sparking insanity? Come walk with Pete but prepare
for rough pavements and detours." - thewordisbond.com

Featuring guest appearances by Tone Spliff, Hanzo Bladez, Koki-Man & Loka, 'Best Bar Nun' gives assurance to be an underground hit on both sides of the Atlantic...
"Best Bar Nun is a dose of Boom Bap in its most purest form where Cuban Pete spearheads the attack on wack rappers, haters and imitators in uncompromising style.
Over the 4 tracks 'Best Bar Nun' is pure poetry, spat with potency, packed and delivered perfectly over a variety of production styles bestowed by Loka."

Sincerely, featuring Tone Spliff, is the first video off the EP and ultimately offers
audiences an inside look into who Cuban Pete is, unapologetically.
Don’t let the smooth and soulful intro fool you once the hard bass drops
so do Pete’s bars. His stance although potent is rather simple. He’s
been the same from a rug rat age to the present day. For some, he is a
valuable commodity as he speaks out against hypocrisy and stands up for
imperial rights.
Through vivid wordplay, Pete makes it clear that he
will continue to stand firm in his beliefs, elevate, and create a
legacy.
Zu Ninja's endured the loss of member K-Blunt recently. This project is dedicated to his memory.
Invading Europe is vol 1 of 3 in the 'Invading' series and sees Zu Ninjaz collaborating with MC's from all over Europe including Germany, UK, Spain, Norway, Russia, and more, as well as US Wu affiliated talent. C75 Live's Cuban Pete features on the last track.
Production is handled by SuPreme, Darkim Be Allah, and Bronze Nazareth among others.
B. Dvine continues his 2022 onslaught with a new track featuring The One Lavic over production by Kinetic9 (fka Baretta9 of Killarmy) and cuts by Tone Spliff
"52 Generations later it came me, no
memories of what I used to be, all the thing I couldn't touch or
thought I wouldn't see? Its all in front my face because of me"
BIG
ALMIGHTY is Back! Honouring our ancestors on this new hard-hitting
single. Raf Almighty delivers some earthy, powerful lyrics over this
"Illmatic" BigBob produced instrumental. The single conveys
encouragement and gives motivation to continue on and push forward in a
time of loss and pain.
"We
gon' pop this last bottle to the ones that gon' follow, and pray to God
that they see tomorrow, and may I last in your memories, and like
angels you'll remember me, like Kisha and Vee, Rag and Dee...
You live as long as I live, and generations after that. Ya'll in our hearts"
The new single "Feel Yuh Pain" is
BigBob's first creation since the passing of his beloved wife Vidya.
This song is for anybody who lost someone near and dear to them. This
time BigBob recruits Vidya's favorite, the most prolific contemporary
reggae artist in the world. Considered top 5 in the world for his
consistency, trend setting, and extensive number of released albums. He
is the one and only Sizzla Kalonji. He brings alongside ESI, artist
and personal friend of Vidya, the ol'dirty bastard of reggae, Daddie
Notch. Together they recite BigBob's feelings over his own rhythmic
soundscape.
Their love was powerful...
"I
pray that each and every one of you get to experience a love so divine,
like the love that I had... at least once in their lifetime..." -BigBob

DJ Absurd from Ear 2 The Streets Radio drops a new blendtape to commemorate the 1 year anniversary of DMX's passing
"R.I.P. DMX, 1 year gone today but never forgotten!
I decided a couple of weeks ago that I wanted to make a DMX mix but
just, very, recently decided to make a DMX/Alchemist Blend Tape.
To my knowledge, they've never worked together but Al's sound fits X
perfectly. Had a bunch of X's Acapellas and went through some of Al's
beats and made it work to the best of my ability with the time I had.
I had more that I wanted do, and would've liked to do a scratch intro,
but time ran out on the clock as I wanted to release it for the 1 year
anniversary.
Check it out, hope you enjoy!"

What is life without love? Judah The Prince aka Krumbsnatcha
returns with another single to remind you to 'Love Yourself', yet
another single release from Krumbsnatcha and Brazilian producer Lincoln
Rossi off the upcoming album entitled Saint Judah,
slated for release later this year.
The track keeps the mid temp melodic
vibe that has been presented with the last few releases. Very easy on
the ears for fans of traditional boom bap with soulful undertones. The
sound of a well placed saxophone leads the listener right through this
track.
The single 'Love Yourself
'is now available on all digital outlets. Look out for a full length
album coming soon as well as the anticipated Iron Lion of Zion album
which explores Reggae and Hip Hop combined to bring a new vivrant flavor
to listeners worldwide.
Artwork is by Cuban Pete, who also appears on the ep which is due out later this year.
UK based Hip Hop artist Cuban Pete is an Emcee in the truest sense
who has amassed a colossal back catalogue over the last few years
including collaborations with industry icons; Erick Sermon,
Krumbsnatcha, Blaq Poet & Tragedy Khadafi as well as home-grown UK
artists such as Ramson Badbones, Arise King David & Trademark BLUD
and more recently Loka on the brand new Best Bar Nun EP.
Loka is an Artist/Producer based in Leicester who's has managed to
accomplish some remarkable things in such a short period of time, such
as performing at O2 Islington (LDN) & touring his debut album
'01.02.98' across the UK & within Europe.
Best Bar Nun is a dose of Boom Bap in its purest form where Cuban
Pete spearheads the attack on wack rappers, haters and imitators in
uncompromising style. Over the 4 tracks 'Best Bar Nun' is pure
poetry, spat with potency, packed and delivered perfectly over a variety
of production styles bestowed by Loka.
Featuring guest appearances by Tone Spliff, Hanzo Bladez, Koki-Man
& Loka, 'Best Bar Nun' gives assurance to be a sure-fire underground
hit on both sides of the Atlantic...
One reviewer online gave it 4 out of 5 mics "as the Production, lyrics, flow and features are all dope.".Listeners
have all claimed different tracks as their favourites, with most saying
their favourite changes each listen, pointing to the 'no filler' aspect of the project.
Take a listen and decide for yourself. Look out for official videos coming soon. The ep is available to stream on all major DSPs but please go and support by buying the digital, CD, and merch, straight from the official site...

A while back OneMike dropped a track called 'Hemmingway Problems' as part of a start of year assault of singles. Now comes the official video directed by Cidal Vision.
Mixed and mastered by Yung Bama, artwork by C75 Live.
German producer Ikom drops the ep 'V' with Dirt Platoon's Raf Almighty
Raf has been busy as of late with producer BigBob as part of the MC/producer duo Big Almighty but takes time out to add to his hectic schedule and bang out on this 5 track ep (4 and an intro).
Vocally this is the usual hardcore, but always thoughtful, rawness we've come to expect from Raf. RA the Rugged Man proteje A.F.R.O. joins in on the last track 'Perfect' with his trademark rapidfire flow.
Musically the beats are the perfect backdrop for the ruff rhymes with a brooding feel throughout.
Overall a solid project guarenteed to bring repeated listening.
