Cuban Pete drops visuals for his tribute to BigBob
Not long ago we heard the sad news that Elite Sound International founder Robert 'BigBob' Pattison had passed. Bob was a renowned and respected producer who worked with artists such as Raf Almighty (Dirt Platoon), Daddie Notch (Bankai Fam), Sizzla Kamonji, Cutty Ranks, Solomon Childs, Ruste Juxx, Nelson Dialect, and many many more. His boom bap production brought the best out of MCs and created many classic sounding albums. Elite Sound International, Bigbob's production and record label, will be entering a period of transition to ensure his legacy will continue to live on. Cuban Pete worked with Bob over the last few years, mainly providing artwork for artists Bob was producing. In the last few months they started working on an as yet unnamed album together. Little did Pete know that the first single from that project would be in tribute to the late producer and friend.

Gone but never forgotten. We love you BigBob!
20 years is a long time, especially in Hip Hop, and the dedication needed to keep a mix show going for that long is immense.
DJ Modesty has kept the pressure on other shows all these years with a dope mix of the latest boom bap style Hip Hop from known and unknown mostly underground artists.
The landmark 400th episode starts off with cosigns from names in the game such as DJ Premier before launching into the new single from Cuban Pete dedicated to the late BigBob (RIP), followed by an exclusive cut dedicated to Modesty himself by artists Napoleon Da Legend, Mic Bless, Musik G, Raze The Ratchet, Wildelux, and XP The Marxman.
