Envy the prodigy was born and raised in the Bronx, NY (Edenwald projects).
The 25 year old and has been writing music since he was 8 years old.
Envy started to get into trouble in the streets at a young age:
"I been behind bars a few times and not ashamed to say it.
I
rap for a cause not just because I do this for my brothers behind a
wall and for the rest that are not here with us today. I express what I
feel in my music instead of causing pain.
